I ordered an SWK Irish National Tartan kilt LAST Monday for the same reason. It, too, arrived in two days. I got the economy model since I don't plan to wear it often and I'm trying to lose some weight - but for $30 I figure if I only wear it once or twice, it's no big deal.

My only surprise is Jerry hasn't figured out how to deliver it BEFORE I order it!

Those were my exact same thoughts as well for wanting to get one for my husband. He's been losing weight and kept holding off on buying a kilt because he was afraid it wouldn't fit. I told him he'd be missing out on the fun NOW until the day came where he was finished losing weight. His standard is a bit loose on him, but we felt the slightly bigger size would be better than risking a slightly-too-small size now. As far as the pleats, I admit I wanted the chance to see if I could sew those down. He held off on getting one though (d'oh!).

Cynthia I have sewn down all the pleats on my economy and thrifty and they fit better.
