Steady Jock! Rise above the flat hat jibes and stick to the subject! Day time bow ties are not seen over here with the kilt, well, at least I have not seen them. Why they are not worn, much(if at all) I know not. I think that they ought to work well with a tweed argyll and waistcoat and I will see if I can dig out a bow tie and try it. Without a doubt though, a flat hat and/or white hose would not be worn as well, as that really would be poor form! Sorry, sorry, OK I fell foul of temptation, I really could not resist having a go!
