Mike, thanks for your kind words. As stated, things went the way I expected, so my determination of justice was based on principle and consternation I could cause to the assailant.
Due to our obviously counter culture statement made by our kilts, often times others feel free to ascribe motives and reactions to us based on our dress. Although it was seen as something frivolous by the authorities, I did not and refused to assume their view. The occurrence has actually strengthened my bond and commitment to the kilt wearing community. Since the event, my kilt inventory has increased by 4, with the current acquisition being a Utilikilt purchased today.
I hope no one else has had a remotely similar experience. Be sure to take any experience and reaction you receive while wearing your kilt as a chance to educate and enlighten others and the public at large.
