Exactly! I fall into both categories, without a doubt.
And I DO have a subscription to G & G...one of my favourite magazines!

just the gardens and the guns, not the scrip...
So far, I borrow other people's copies of the excellent magazine. The editor, Rebecca Wesson Darwin grew up in my town- but on the Right Side of the Tracks...
By the way, my garden is about to bake to a crisp here. Please send rain.
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife

I like plain 'army style' sporrans like yours when a man is dressed more casually.
Some people go over the top, and I have seen someone dressed casually with a full dress military sporran. It looked bizarre, as if a badger had crashed into his kilt at speed.

Well CMcG,
I always appreciate your style, but this one misses on a few notes for me.
Now remember this is only my opinion, which you paid big bucks for
The short sleeve white shirt. I agree going with long sleeve rolled up if you want too, and in a different color. The short sleeve white is just screaming for a plastic pocket protector
Too my eye, the emerald green of the waistcoat neither matches, compliments nor contrasts, it seems to actually clash with the green in the kilt.
The argyll pocket flaps just don't fit the rest of the set up.
Not a fan of flashes, especially in bright green.
So, if you change the shirt, the waistcoat, and the flashes I think you'd look great!
Again, only my silly opinion...but you did ask
Good on ya for the courage seek input.
Best regards,
Brooke
