    Thanks so much for this excellent posting! It ranks right up there with "1 Kilt, 10 Looks ..." from Panache and McMurdo. I've already bookmarked it for future reference. There are scads of ideas in all those pictures, and I plan to steal a lot of them.

    I'm a big fan of tartan waistcoats, but I like them cut on the bias to provide a visual break from the kilt. Now, it looks like I'm going to have to order another one.
    I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

    As for the tartan waistcoat with a tweed jacket or any other look I posted, I knew that not be everyone would be into ALL them. That's exactly why I wanted to post a few different variations for people to consider

    From when I first got more interested in kilt wearing, Panache and McMurdo's
    "1 Kilt, 10 Looks..." thread has continued to be a real benefit to me. I'm happy to give something back to the forum and, if this thread proves useful enough, I'd be honoured for it to be stickied like the one that inspired it.
