I can attest that Caledonian Kitchen is very good quality. (My personal favorite is their Highland Beef version. The vegetarian/vegan version is also surprisingly palatable, though with a detectable flavor of soy sauce.) Being in the U.K. though, you may want to go with something produced on your own island.

I con understand the concern with the muslim as I'm quite sure that Haggis are not necessarily Halal but the MacSweens vegetarian one is a good call.

Now I'm trying to rake my brain for what else in available...of course having lived in Scotland for almost a decade there are so many local varieties that I have tried, but I'm thinking of what is availale over the shelf (and not in a tin).

To think of those poor Haggis running free and then sold in a cylindrical tomb

My wifes a vegie and we eat the mcsweens all the time, however to trully enjoy haggis in its finest form it should be used as a pizza topping

my local place does a "Braveheart" that has chillies as well but tesco do a haggis pizza made by cosmo, yum yum yum

Hell. I should know better than to look at any thread about haggis!

So off I go to the MacSween's website, where under Vegetarian Haggis we find these tasty little multi-cultis:

-- Haggis and Portobello Mushroom
-- Haggis on Toast
-- Haggis Spring Rolls
-- Haggis Pakora

Now I'll have to find something of the sort to try. I make a couple of veggie haggae but it'd be interesting to try something new...
