    Perhaps in silk rather than wool. Yes, you CAN get tartan yardage in silk. Tartan refers to the weave, not the material.

    Hey, thats not such a bad idea actually. Especially if the dupatta (long scarf) would be in walker silk and then the shalwar kameez could be in solid colors that accent the dupatta....

    way to get my wheels turning!

    but im still getting him in a kilt someday He has no escape. (and to be honest, I dont think he's terribly opposed. He's pretty interested in my heritage.)
