    Thanks for the link, David!

To Mark, we'd be glad to help you. Just order on line or give us a call. We are just over the mountains in western NC, so not far from you all things considered.

    Re: Tartan Scarf Vendors?

Matt, I see that you have a Spring Weight Tartan Scarf and a Reiver Tartan Scarf. Considering the $20 difference, is the weight all that different between the two?

    Thanks for the help.

The spring weight scarves are very light weight and definitely more of a fashion accessory than something to keep your neck warm in the cold. They are also woven as a plain weave.

The Reiver scarves are by Lochcarron and while still a light weight wool, they are a bit heavier (the same weight as our lady's skirts) and are woven in a twill weave.

If you think she'd appreciate a bit more body to the scarf, then I'd go with the Reiver. If she'd rather have something she can wear year round, then the spring weight would work.

Thanks. Purchase made. I checked some other sites as well but none had the ancient tartan, only the modern.
