Well done you. But pictures are definitely a requirement---soon.

Three of us.... Though the houndstooth tweed jacket I modified several years ago was a thrift shop find. It's too small, now. It was marginal at the time, now with the weight lifting...ha!

Heck of a find!! Some guys have all the luck. Finding an argyle in the US is as rare as hen's teeth. You found one that basically fits too.

Go buy some lottery tickets! Maybe you're on a run of good luck.

Quite a nice, little profit I'll say!

Hopefully not from a thrift shop! Indeed there are some bargains (deals) to be found but to make a profit wouldn't be the point of such places. I regularly saw a man who owned a second hand shop who would be seen frequenting the Salvation Army store (in my student town)... looking for bargains to flogg in his own.

    Cheers,

    Great find. Good for you.
I've been a thrift store junkie for years and years. Never found anything as cool as that but I did find a nice new black kilt belt once (sans buckle). I think I paid 5 bucks? I also found a very "entry level" little sporran too once. Still dreaming of the day I stumble upon a full on kilt or a great jacket.
    Again, congrats man.
