    Personally, I think Sport kilts are the high end of the starter kilts.

    I thought about that. On inspection, I noticed the leather strap is right under it. Is covered by material like the bottom one? Or is it exposed?

    After I received it I found Stillwater kilts. So my next kilt will more than likely come from them.

    Looking good, enjoy our common affliction to all things plaid! My first kilt was a SK (Sportkilt) - their All Ireland Green. Love the plaid and still want to get a heavyweight in it!
