Re: Got my wisdom teeth removed this morning

I had mine out in med school 28 years ago, all 4 in one sitting. Nitrous plus IV Valium and I had a religious experience, coming this close to meeting God, then they woke me up----drat. They stuffed my cheeks with gauze and as I was leaving with my girlfriend we ran into her roommate in the elevator, me looking and talking like Brando in the Godfather, only less intelligently. When the roommate learned of my dental surgery, she said, "I hope you feel better soon" and under the remaining effects of the Valium I replied, "I'm feeling jusssht fine.".

Don't worry, you should do fine. Keep up the cold fluids for a couple days, and the occasional icepack can tide you over when the painkillers don't last long enough. Good luck.

hahaha I like that. Thats kinda how mine went. I was juuuuuusht fine when I was high on those drugs.

I remember laying in the recovery chair pointing and making a whining sound at the window to the room where they took out my teeth. My mom kept asking me what I wanted but she couldnt understand me with the gauze in my mouth. She made it write it down and it was "I want to thank the doctor" in the worst handwriting Ive ever seen. lol. And then I made more whining/crying soudns when they said that they already showed me my teeth. I kept asking to see them over and over again.

maybe I will post the picture that she took of me in the recovery chair. hahahaha. A very happy Chipmonk look on my face.
