Re: Really?? Suspenders for Sagging Pants
Remember the skin tight pants of the 70's...I'd take this look any day (lesser of two evils).

I respectfully disagree. My wifes younger brother wears "skinny jeans" and also sags them. I don't know which one (sagging or skinny jeans) is the lesser of two ridiculously looking evils!!! They both look equally absurd! I have know clue how he gets the jeans on let alone get them off! He must have some perfectly timed exploding lubricant to assist with the removing process!! He looks asinine! Unfortunately he's a really good kid, so I hold back a bit when I get on my verbally abusive rants, otherwise I'd let him have it...

Wow. Skinny jeans. They have to be the most unflattering, ridiculous-looking trend in years. Even well-formed young women look bad in them...and then to sag them?! I admire your restraint!
If he's a good kid, chances are you and he can poke fun at old pictures of him in 10 years. It'll be a great bonding experience.

Re: Really?? Suspenders for Sagging Pants
I never found the need for outlandish dress even in my teens/twenties.
So to keep to the No Pics rule, here are some photo's of me aged about 17 to 20.
I did not wear kilts then and we lived in Manchester.
Me on my bike in front of my/parents house aged about 16/17 (1960's)

My mother, aunt, me and wife about 1970

Wife's father, My father, Me.
My Mother.
Wife's aunt, Wife, Wife's Mother.
All passed away many years ago except wife and I.
C. 1967/8

Me up on the Pennines somewhere 1966/7 (you have my permission to laugh)

We used to go the centre of Manchester, dancing, clubs, cinema, most other males wore a tie and jacket, I never remember seeing jeans then.
I think going around dressed in drop pants, showing your underwear, at that time in Manchester, you would have been thrown in jail for indecent exposure.
If they want to dress like this, who am I to dictate, it's up to them.
IMHO, they look just silly.
Chris.
