As am I! I like mine where no knee is showing. If I wear mine above or at mid knee, I feel very uncomfortable.

I agree! Except I don't even notice when it is too long.
This is the one thing I think about the "tradition" of a kilt. Think about it, if all of us had followed "tradition" most of us would NOT be wearing a kilt. Tradition in my family was jeans. The fact that I choose to wear a kilt is breaking tradition. Therefore, when I wear a kilt, I wear for comfort, not tradition. I don't care if it looks bad or if I am breaking every traditional rule of wearing a kilt (for example: I don't want my knees showing for the most part). As long as it feels right, I am gooood! And as long as if feels right for you, I don't think it matters what everyone else thinks
Those are my thoughts on Tradition. I also think you will start seeing the younger generation wear them lower on the waist and go lower on the knees.
