It is Tyger, and don't you forget it!

Guys at the gym fall out when I tell them I am 60. I can still max out a lot of those damn machines, and don't hurt myself too often on that. But, I can't move what I used to be able to move, and that is a bummer.

Shoot, I am way off topic. Lookout: bound to be a dipwand comment about that. And I might get reported. Oooooooo.

This new bonnet is such a fine piece of work that I hate to call it a bonnet.

And I was shooting in a mirror so it is backwards. I am left-handed. And I point left-handed. I gotta fix that:

I've just come to expect it whenever anyone says something about anything around here.

I really dig the color on that bonnet, btw. I've just about got the wife talked into letting me get one soon.

Yes, the color of this lid is great. I am glad that I chose it.

I pondered possiblities: perusing personal proclivites promulgates prejudical preferences, perhaps piperdbh would knit me some hose?

    YES!

Were you able to find the right stuff, D?

This particular ball of yarn has been in my personal hoard for about two years. Made a cover for my dad's dome from the same color and liked it so much that I got another hank, just in case; it came in handy.

You're a hoss, sir, and your new 'do adds a certain additional air of fortitude, for certain. And in spite of how your first bonnet matched your eye color, I think I like this one better still. Seems like you just can't go wrong with a dark bonnet like that. It screams out "Anyone who gives me *****, shall do so to their chagrin!"

Also, since I've gotten some inquiries, these lids can be had here: http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/rabby_bonnets.html

Yes, from a most amiable source. In fact, you know the source quite well.

    Ah, nice.

Those amiable sources are pretty awesome, aren't they?

Pleasantly and patiently poised, postured, and prepared. Please proceed.

Good news about your brother. Yes, I can hitch the pair and take the back way over Black Rock Mountain, drop in, and get some good words from him.

We used to own the Mayhaw Tree business, and sold it to Robert Mitcham (HOF) who now does the jelly.

I don't eat out much, and the woman that is/used to run the kitchen put me off the one time I had breakfast there, so I have not been back.

Scott isn't one of those dour, somber, "preachy" types. He's a good, fun-loving guy, likes to play golf, and tells a good joke. If you ever run into to him, tell him "John from Los Alamos" says "hello". It'll set him to wonderin'. Then you can have all kinds of "fun" with him, eg make up a good spoof.

Feel free to use me as the butt of the joke. He'll like it even better. Tell him we were drinking tequila in a bar in Tularosa one night, got mad at each other, and you beat me up, etc. etc., or whatever you want.

Robert Mitcham!? You mean the guy who starred in "Thunder Road"?! They seem like pretty good folks, on the phone anyway. I buy six jars at a time from them to amortize the shipping cost.

Too bad about your experience at Food Mart. I've never been in the place, but would like to go sometime. If I ever get out to Tiger, I'll run up with Scott and we'll try to find Tyger Forge, so we can drop by and get a first-hand look at that bonnet. Don't set the dogs on us.

    John
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

You will not find the Forge. Not on the map. No signs. No phone. No address. No road that you can see. No way for you to get there. Robert Mitcham does not even know where it is.

It is a refuge of peace and quiet. Perchance you might hear the ringing of a hammer across the ridge, but it would have to be a chance. Even then you would not find it.

One must pass the debris of 3 old stills getting to it, yet that will not come to pass.
