St. Patrick's blue can be described as sky blue, which can of course run through a range shades. The one that stands out to me is the one used in the flag of the President of Ireland. Some of our sponsors could easily make a kilt for you in this colour.Originally Posted by hkjrb623
Scotweb lists 6 shades of blue worsted wool to choose from but I think a nice blue tweed with a subtle check would also be really nice. For example, something like one of the two shades of "Cairngorm" from Keltoi:
