Well, three of my buddies and I wore our kilts to Sunday worship today. We range in age from 32 to 73, with me falling about in the middle age-wise.

It was my first time wearing a kilt in a public setting. I offer these observations:

1. It takes a lot longer to get dressed that the usual suit and tie.

2. I was much more aware of the blowing wind than usual.

3. I realized that I have a habit of lightly toughing my wallet in my rear pants pocket when I stand up after being seated for a while. Everything that was in a pocket is now in a sporran.

4. I have attended this congregation for about 5 months, and met more new people today than I did the first month that I was here. Most of them were married women who wanted me to help talk their husbands into getting kilts.

5. A nice lady requested a picture of our group when we were outside headed out. She promised to send it to us via email, which I will post here if received.

I have a Prince Charlie on order, so today was just kilt (Dress Gordon), belt, sporran, hose, flashes, black wingtips, white shirt and tie.
