    Something that was said to me way back in 1970 -

    "Funerals are not for the dead; they are past feeling pleased or offended. Funerals are for those of us left behind; for the living."

    A funeral is part of the grieving process and is private to each individual and must be done by each person in their own way.

    Well put! If wearing your kilt helps you honor someone, by all means wear the thing!

    I think the single most annoying thing about this kilt forum is the constant drumbeat from a percentage of our membership about all the various times and places not to wear a kilt!
