Those are just wonderful, Matt! I *just* the other day learned about the Crannog educational center and it went on my list of "must do" when I go, so it was great to see your picture of it.

Excellent pictures Matt, Susan and I are off to Scotland from 13 June to July 1. Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness to East Largo Fife. Thanks for a taste of what we are going to see! I will post some of my photos when we are back in July.

Super pics Matt. Like JockScot I always enjoying photothreads of my home country as seen through the eyes of a visitor.
You would have visited my home town of Hawick on your way between Selkirk and Langholm, probably during the time while I was away in Canada. I hope you were suitably impressed with our heritage.
