Some years ago I tried western knee boots and replica cavalry knee boots with kilts and they top of the boots was forever catching on the top of the boot. See your boot tops have a cleaner line. Sometimes it catches but it pops right out while I'm walking. it doesnt catch enough to do any damage. Just gets in a way a bit.
