Possibly, but alas raccoons are not rodents. They are in the Order Carnivora with other familiar hunters such as dogs, cats, and bears. Actually, raccoons are most closely related to the coati mundi, the kinkajou, and some other exotic mammals.
So to answer the question, yes, Buddy would LOVE some chicken, and would definitely see rodents as a spendid appetizer.

Buddy might like chicken... Ask Max (my cat) what happens when he tries to snitch curry off my plate.

Thanks, Mr. Science Guy!
I guess rodentia would include the beaver and muskrat; carnivora, most of the other favorites, like racoon, fox, and that local favorite Mephitis mephitis.
What order are the American marsupials again? We keep threatening to go there, but I don't think anyone has actually done it. There is an ample supply hereabouts.

I don't have photos, but I have definitely seen at least two "possum" sporrans. If I had a barrel of carbon tetrachloride (for degreasing the hide) I'd make one for sure!

If you ever decide to make one , I'd be happy to supply you with a specimen . I see at least one a day either as road kill or live ones on my property . Also , I believe they are EPA approved as they are " free range " possums .
Of course you probably have many of them in your neck of the woods as well !
