I thought it was more like a caption contest where several folks take a shot at writing a joke to go with the punch line.

I see what you are saying . Now I'm not sure . Come up with jokes to fit that single punch line - or - come up with a joke to fit that punch line and then submit a new punch line that waits for another joke ( kind of like the Song Title Game ) . Not sure which one " xman " intended . I'm sure he will clarify , either way , it should be fun .

I meant that everyone should have a plug at the same punchline, but whatever. Running punchlines wouldn't be a bad idea, but that's another thread with different rules.

I am wondering if the jokes should be PMed to someone and all revealed at the same time, perhaps after 48 hours or so. It is just a thought. Or they could be stored on Funk and Wagnalls porch in a #2 mayonnaise jar.
