Some folks don't like the look but I do...if I were to make a change it would be to lose the satin trim on this corduroy jacket or go with a black wool for a dressier look.

Have your jacket cut shorter in length. (approx. the same length as the sleeves) I did this...sleeves 25" jacket 24".
Then do a small cut-away in the front to accommodate the sporran. I did not do this but I would next time.
