    Maybe so, but isn't this tartan supposed to "represent" the "Dress Blues", when a lick of polish would be "de riguer"?

    Jeez Louise....the guy whips on the new kilt to take a few long awaited pics and gets sandbagged....

    Methinks it more along the line of folks taking kilt pics in their sox etc.

    Think you can be most assured that he can easily dive into a more formal turnout that includes spit shined shoes.
