Congrats on your research paper ! That should be a very interesting read when you get it posted .
Just one quick question , I noticed in your post , you were careful to use caps in all the right places but " america " was not one of them . Is there some historical reason for that or just a type error ?
At any rate , look forward to reading your paper !

Was happy to read earlier of your enrolling, and anticipated success; wonderful to see it happening.
If you can post, it might be of interest to many who may not be aware of Darien. Not having funds
for maintaining troops, Oglethorpe wisely recruited highland Scots to settle on the southern border.
The lure of land proved effective, and the tactic successful. Their investment of sweat and blood and
vigorous efforts against the Spanish established a strong Scots presence in the area. Wandering through
cemeteries in south Georgia you become very aware of the influence and numbers of Scots who for
a variety of reasons, some by choice and many not, cast themselves into the hands of Grace in a
hostile wilderness. For those of us who grew up in the area there is a strong sense of gratitude, and
an innate connection to Scotland obviously not explainable to many.

I've got the paper back, but it seems it is too big to attach, is there some other way I can attach the file?

Awesome job - the Savannah games are there for the same reason - hope to see you there this year May 11.

Congrats on your great score... Darien is indeed an interesting historical topic. I've read Parker's book myself and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Scottish roots in the South.
Cheers,

If you want to e-mail it, I should be able to upload it to a site I run elsewhere and then link the document here for you.

That sounds, good. I was thinking about printing it and taking pictures and posting those, but this sounds better. I just need to make some typo corrections and get rid of some redundancies and then I can email it.
