Hey group,

I recently went on a cruise with my wife's family and wanted to wear a kilt for formal/fancy night. At this time, I have only single color kilts but they look really sharp. I had tried on all of my dressy shirts and I just end up looking like I should be a waiter or should have a set of bagpipes.

I am looking to dress up my kilt without necessarily going with a full PC jacket. I am a DIY kilt maker and am currently working with tartan to make my first non self color kilt. Does anyone out there have any advise on how to dress up my look?
