Well, I guess the fates knew it was too soon for my jones to end. LOL DHL attempted delivery today, but of course I wasn't home. So, I'll sign the door slip, and wait for tomorrow's re-delivery.

Mine arrived on Saturday but I only managed to pop home to collect it today.
I was expecting a light kilt but its lighter than I was expecting. I might have to be careful around strong winds. It seems to be a well made kilt though.
The hielan' man he wears the kilt, even when it's snowin';
He kens na where the wind comes frae,
But he kens fine where its goin'.

Just checked the DHL status for my kilt. It has arrived at my home, so I'll check it out tonight.
[EDIT: I just arrived home and opened the package. The kilt looks great. I love the "Ancient" colors. Can't wait to wear it when the weather improves. Thank you again, Nick, for the sweet deal.]

Murray of Atholl Muted - 11 oz - Bartley Mills -Cuillin Range- (see: http://www.nbfabrics.co.uk/gallery1_5.html )
Very lightweight, but seems to be ideal for summer .... Needs a little pressing/ironing but fine gem for the price ...

Well my Holyrood kilt took every bit of the estimated 15 days to arrive.
As stated before a light kilt by no lighter than my Xmarks PV Kingussie.
It will be great for the hot & humid days we have here in Virginia.

Thanks Nick, great job.

I seriously wish that I had snapped one of these up. I vascilated and the sale ended so I went with another maker and have a P/V on order.
I really am impressed with the look of these kilts.

I touched up a pleat or two on mine as well, but it was quick, easy, and I think it will be a great kilt for hot summer days!

It Came!!!
I was the one order from back at the end of January that had not gone out. To make up for the delay I got upgraded to a 16oz House of Edgar tartan.
I am very pleased with the result in Modern Wallace, which got a quick showing off along the promenade in Carrickfergus last evening in a pretty stiff breeze.
Its a beautiful kilt and will be an ideal travel companion too.
Thank you to Nick, Stewart and the team.
