My wife and I had a ton of fun meeting The NorCal Rabble, and look forward to the Pleasanton Games to meet up again.

Before anyone critisizes me for wearing white hose, please note that I am wearing my SAMS uniform shirt and participated with that group.

Thanks for posting the photos gents, another great event in Woodland!
I really appreciated the budding drum majors. For those of you not in attendance, one of the adult competitors provided a free 3 hour drum major camp on Saturday morning for youth 9-13 years old. The young participants then performed for the crowd after the Saturday professional drum major competition (being led by the DM that trained them). Their maces are wooden dowels with silver painted softballs attached to the end, which the participants got to keep following their performance. Given what we have heard about the diminishing attendance at the games in Scotland, I was proud to see traditions not only celebrated here but supported in future generations.
Bravo to the organizers, and army of volunteers, who make this great event possible!
PS. The gentleman in the second photo (next to the photo of the lady with the tattoo) is current US Highland Drum Major champion Jacey Anderson.
