The saltre set to me would be perfect to watch Scotland play anyone. (And I've seen videos of matches where the stands are full of screaming face painted kilt wearers. Tacky in any other context, de rigeur there.

So true! One might wear a Saltire kilt, have a Saltire shirt, another painted on the face, and so on. In that context there's no such thing as "too much"
