This is going to hit Amazon and their ilk.
 ith:
It will hurt plenty of small businesses. The $1m cap is too low. With Obamacare, they start at 50 employees (which makes sense as it would cripple small businesses to have to worry about administration). With this law, it would start with companies with 4 or 6 employees. Does a company who barely has enough to get by (especially one with lower margin items, but high resale value) now have to hire a full time accountant ($50 K a year) to deal with sales tax issues?
This will affect kilt companies as well (keeping the post on topic). If the starting revenue was closer to $2 M or $3 M (or higher), then the company in question would be of sufficient size to warrant a full time accountant and it wouldn't be such a burden on the owner.
off soap box now.

This thread has got me searching for a classic Tattersall check with a spread collar and, at least here, they are pretty much impossible to find.
I went looking through our big malls, no luck! Either the pattern isn't quite right, or they have pointy collars, or buttondown collars, or short sleeves.
Checked several online places (thanks for all those suggestions!) and the ones I looked at were either in the UK with prohibitive shipping, or in the USA with prohibitive pricing.
So I turned to Ebay and sure enough I found just what I was looking for, $22 with free shipping. One is on its way!

Would you be so kind as to give us the link, please, Richard? Thanks in advance.

Spread collar you say? House of Bruar in Perthshire has them (The Oxford Shirt Company). That is where I get mine. They're around $80, which includes shipping to the US.

It wasn't exactly what I was looking for - a simple green/yellow or green/brown, but it was a simple black/khaki and should look OK with many combinations of kilts and jackets. In fact, if it fits and I like it, I will probably order another in olive/purple to go with my Strathtummel kilt (matchy-matchy) and black argyll.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Yeah, had something similar to that happen while sailing a 44ft. Ketch on Lake Michigan many years ago.
