Very nice and absolutely appropriate. Just make sure it doesn't Fall off this Autumn, I'd hate to see that beauty in the compost heap!

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. It's definitely getting the "big rubber band" treatment, when it goes on the kilt. And I found a smaller companion pin to use with it, also ordered...

I finally received all the pins I'd found online. I found a total of three, with similar/close treatments; two maples of different sizes, and the larger oak. Here are a couple shots of the pins, on my "Leaf Peeper". The camera doesn't do the colors any justice. I'll play around with the arrangement 'til I come up with one I like.
