Anybody have a copy of the poem "Ferguson's Bird?" - first heard by me as recited by a 102 year old gentleman (!) in a dinner jacket at a semi-formal occasion & much enjoyed.

Had knee surgery awhile back and when I called the Surgery Center to see what time I needed to be there, the Nurse said "Oh, yeah-you'll be in a knee brace after surgery, so wear something that's easy to get on and off". I showed up in my kilt and had no problems with the knee brace. I also had a number of young lasses that kept entering my room asking if I needed anything, needless to say, it was making the Mrs. rather upset. She said "you have a Nurse assigned to you! What's with all these girls coming in and out?" I just smiled and replied, "Awesome power of the Kilt"!

The problem of shirts coming untucked while wearing pants used to be alleviated by small rubber ovals sewn to the waistband of trousers. It worked very well but like so many aspects of well made clothes, seems to have disappeared unless you order them when getting pants made to measure.

Huh?! Seriously? I have never seen those before even in some of my really nice trousers. I'd love to see a pic of those rubber thigamajigs.

A kilt is healthier!
It provides more ventilation, hence I don't sweat down there. By this fact it is healthier

When I started wearing long pants I also started wearing belts...
The benefits for the kilted are many.
