Nice story.

I see the doctor's piper is wearing an Argyle day wear jacket and waistcoat with buckle brogues and what appears to be tartan hose. The doctor is also wearing an Argyle jacket and waistcoat, tartan hose, and a standard pair of brogues. Not sure about the doctor's sporran. Looks like it has a flap like a drover sporran.

Looks like a full mask sporran to me. I also find the kilt pin and sgian dubh interesting, considering the date of the photo. Not sure what to say about the doctor's hat, though!
