    No it's not. The tartan Jamie is wearing in the photo is lacking the brown line in the grey squares, the brown line bounding the grey squares and the thin vertical and horizontal stripe is one colour while the Mackay is two colours.

    Remember, this is pre-Culloden. The tartans linked are not old enough to be used for Outlander. Using the info from the Tartan Authority, a Fraser tartan can be dated pre-Culloden and it looks nothing like what's been linked. The other's linked don't seem to be older than 1790. Perhaps Peter might venture an opinion if he sees this thread.

    yup you are right, it is missing that brown line in the grey, very good eye.
