It is sort of funny to some of us who live in Canada how little people know of this place.

From East to West, Canada is over 400 straight line miles and covers 89 degrees of longitude..

Some provinces like Saskatchewan , Alberta and British Columbia are taller than the distance from the Isle of Scilly to the northern most Shetland islands. London, Ontario is on the 42nd degree of Latitude North and parts of Nunavut are well above the Arctic Circle at 83 degrees N.

The southern most part of the UK is the isle of Scilly at 54 degrees N. and the northern most part of the UK is at 60 degrees N.

So yes Jordan you will enjoy a LITTLE visit to Canada. But please do enjoy your visit to the southern parts of the Province of Ontario.

Steve, I think you left a number off. By my measure, it's 3400 miles across.

A Saturday kilt night in Toronto would probably work.

    Steve, you forgot a zero!

I was just talking to Jordan, we will be meeting at The Caledonian on Saturday the 22nd for the kilt night. I can call the Caledonian when we have an idea on numbers.
