I'm a screen printer, and I'll say that just one shirt is going to be pretty expensive. If you have several printed, you can sell them and spread out the screen set-up cost. I also encourage you to use big, bold graphics to catch the eye and make people want to look at you. A simple tartan pattern in your kilt drawing, with "Real Men Get Checked" below it would play on the tartan = plaid = checked thing; sort of a visual pun.

    A note from the Staff,

John is doing this project on his own. John is not connected with, nor should any implication be made that John is representing, those groups calling themselves "Kilted to Kick Cancer".

I'm sorry but each year someone claiming to be a representative of "Kilted to Kick Cancer" joins the forum and proceeds to attempt to solicit funds from our membership.
The "Kilted to Kick Cancer" website states that they do not collect funds.
There also appear to be three different and separate groups using the same name.
As there are enough questions why a group that purports not to solicit funds would send a representative here to do just that we have had to deny these posts and refuse membership to these people.
While a good cause, using the membership of this forum to solicit funds would violate our published Rule #10.

We ask our membership to not confuse John's work with the groups calling themselves "Kilted to Kick Cancer".

To John we say "Good on 'ya" and good luck with your project.

I don't really have any ideas, but I have breast cancer, and no one seem to want to tell males that they can get the disease too. I sent an email to one of the better known breast cancer groups suggesting that they let people know about this little known fact and they ignored me.

I had no idea there were 3 different groups using the same name. Something smells fishy. Anyway, my main thought was to second Riverkilt's encouragement to not stop at one shirt when it is such a great idea!

I do indeed know this, my wife has worked in the field for many years and has told me of cases such as yours, it's a shame that you get largely ignored by the big cancer players but that's because it's quite uncommon...... so that means it isn't a cause they they can make money on and that's the bottom line for all too many organizations it seems.
