With that, I think that this thread is completed and I request that the moderators lock the thread down so that no further infractions may take place.

As a non Face Book type person, I wonder Alan, what weight of cloth are you thinking of getting the winning tartan woven in? It could be an important consideration for some, perhaps?

Thanks, Griz!
===========================
When I started this thread, the discussion was to be about THE TARTAN. The unspoken agreement with the mods was that we'd talk about the tartan and nothing else. I took it one step further, which in fact I probably should not have done, and mentioned weavers. That's my fault.
Now people are talking about what weight of cloth and whether it will be bought, and by whom. PLEASE STOP. No more discussion of this item, and particularly about cloth, buying it, or anything else, can happen on XMTS, because of Rule #10.. The tartan is designed. It will be woven. That's it.
This thread is OVER.
If anybody wants more information going forward, you're welcome to PM me, and I'm sure that McMurdo and Barb would also welcome inquiries by PM. Be on the lookout, 'round February/March for pictures of finished items to show up in the "Show us your pictures" forum.
