I finally found that show a couple months ago on Netflix, never heard of it before. I wish they would have not taken it off the air, I loved it. I watched the entire series in just over a month. I got hooked on it, lol. Trying to find a replacement show to watch now.

Have you tried the "Hamish MacBeth" series? It, too, was filmed in Scotland. It is a lot of fun to watch, but a bit edgier than MOTG. It is also available via Netflix on DVD, but with no subtitles, so you have to listen carefully.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I tried to, but I can't stream it with Netflix, it's only available from them on DVD. I tried their DVD program before, it takes too long for them to mail DVD's to me here in Hawaii to be worth paying for it. I will just have to wait until it is available for streaming.
I decided to watch the Monarch series again it was so good, lol.

RC: I wish I could stream "HM" too, because Netflix provides subtitles with their streaming content. The DVDs don't provide subtitles. It's difficult at times for me to interpret the Scottish accents. Maybe NETFLIX will open up a distribution center in Maui. Fat chance.
My wife and I are watching the MOTG series again, too - for the 4th time! It's still great, especially while tippling a dram or two of malt.

Monarch of the Glen was great (at least until Hector's departure).

MOTG is one of my favorite shows. Too bad Hamish Clark isn't active anymore. It would be nice to chat it up with a celebrity. Duncan is such an iconic character along with Hector MacDonald. Of course, I can't talk about MOTG without mentioning the lovely ladies of Glen Bogle such as Dawn Steele (Lexie), Lorraine Pilkington (Katrina), and Kirsty Mitchell (Iona). Not much better than a beautiful lady with an accent. Great show. Clean, decent, and very entertaining.
Cheers,
