My wife is from Canada, and I truly love and admire the Canadian people.

Maple Leaf tartan is one of the most beautiful. What would you folks think if I eventually wore one in her honor? I wouldn't want to ruffle any feathers.

Go right ahead! By wearing it you are honouring our great country, and that is special coming from anyone from elsewhere! I, too now have a kilt in that beautiful tartan and even if I wasn't Canadian I would be proud to wear it cause it is so beautiful.

A slight aside...but I was at the O Canada House this weekend in Vancouver where the Canadian National was penned by Ewing Buchan. http://ocanadahouse.com/history/ and in an equally Canadian pursuit I was in town for a hockey game.
