The public seemed tohave a small turn out and probably less than 50 by noon on Sunday. I got there about 9 and most of the vendors that were out and about were packing up.
It was like the Sunday. At salado when the wind was blowing on the ball field several years ago

Before my current annual business travel commitment, I loved coming to the TSF and helping Jerry McIntyre with his tent. But, it seems that the pattern of the weather was always one of the following choices: Terribly hot; terribly windy, or terribly rainy.

"LOL" well they moved it from June to May to fix the heat part but then it picked up on the rain.
The wind, well its always a possibility

I lost all 4 of my tents. No more EZ ups for me. Great visiting with Steve and Chuck though. As always. Screw the picture. It did happen.

Ouch, Ken! Sorry to hear that...
But knowing your track record, I'll bet you still managed to sign up 10 new members out of 50 attendees!
If the EZ Ups are out, what's your brand of preference? I'll bear it in mind for when mine bites the dust.

Doug and I packed up the Mackay and Macleod tents early Sunday morning. We were next to the Stewart tents. I looked over at the Stewart tents with the poles bent or broken and water pouring down on their site and thought, even though its 8:00 in the morning, if I had my flask with me, Ken would have probably finished off the Scotch in it!

I have the same question as Shaun and Super8mm: What style tent will you be using instead? (You don't get out of convening.)

Actually I tied my record of 14 signups. As far as the tent goes, I checked out one that the MacInnes had. They really sang its' praises. 10 X 20, 2 inch uprights, made by King Canopy. I have been researching them all morning. I've been contacted by a couple folks wanting to contribute. Good to have friends in the convener community, as well as my clan.
Regards
