Kilted Fridays Adventures

Last Friday and for the weekend, I attended an event in Brighton, on the English South Coast. There were a number of other Scots there including the one who took this picture of me. I can't think why most of them came and introduced themselves.


Despite it just being a cheap, casual acrylic kilt, I got lots of nice comments from all types including all the Scots. Of the Scots, one said he wished he had the courage to wear his kilt and another that he never felt comfortable in it. The latter on further questioning admitted that he only wore his kilt on formal occasions and that its high rise and the accompanying jacket and waist coat, which he could not wait to divest at the earliest opportunity, were the reasons. When I told him about casual kilts and their general availability, he was genuinely surprised.
