    Kilt Friday!

    Today is my Royal Stewart.

I have worked at home for several years, but I still wore a kilt every Friday if for no other reason than just to make sure they still fit.

These days, I am working in the office. There is quite a crew of new people since I last came here regularly. Week by week, they are getting used to it. Some even look forward to my Kilt Friday.

    Working hard on Friday

Yes I really was working hard. Trying to encourage a client to partake in a little exercise..... Seriously I get paid for this!

And I, meanwhile, was in my Black Stewart kilt, along with my new black Special Forces commando sweater (I've been wanting one of those for ages). Happy Weekend!

Yesterday, I wore my "Tartan Hiker" Bill Sanderson Scottish Wild Cat tartan Kingussie kilt. At work I had three encounters with residents of the community. Two of which were new to the community and yet to learn of my Kilted Fridays. It was a great opportunity for them to tell me about their Scottish ancestry.

That evening my sweetheart and I went to listen to a local Celtic duo performing at a local Irish restaurant. A number of comments and another chance for a lady to tell me about her Scottish ancestry.

This Friday I wore my Burnett & Struth casual kilt in ancient MacCallum. It was an uneventful day till to "quitting" time when one of my newer residents coming in for happy hour saw kilted while closing the office. She was esatic telling me that she heard I wore the kilt and now she saw me. I told her about observing "kilted Fridays".

Afterwards my sweetheart and I went downtown to partake in "Restaurant Week" at Spencer Devon a new brewery with great suds and upscale restaurant. A compliment for another patron and waiter on the kilt.

You look fantastic! Love the accessorizing, especially the hose--I'd love to have a pair of those, they'd work well with my Lamont Ancient kilt and neck tie also...
