Is a consideration ..and not unappealing. Perhaps a bit 'lawn chair web'

I like it better but there again, I'm influenced by traditional military pleating and this is almost certainly how such a tartan would have been pleated if regimental.

I don't disagree, having served. In the end it came down to having my spouse help deciding between the white and the red, she pointing out that the latter displays more of the colours of the cloth.
I am getting an addn 5yd to fabricate a box pleat ..maybe I'll get 8 instead 😄

Waiting for the customs brokerage/clearance prior to delivery to my home is agonizing!!!
