Alcohol being such a fixture of Games in Scotland and here in the USA Southwest and West, I was dismayed to discover that Grandfather Mountain was in a "dry" County and that there was no alcohol on the premises. (Not that I'm such a big drinker, but still...)
Likewise the Bridgeport (WV) Games are "dry". I was told that this is because they're held in a park. We likewise hold Games out here in parks, and yet serve alcohol.
