Great day at Braemar, warm enough for t shirt most of the day, a little heavy mist later but that stopped for the queen. Heavy events where great to watch Scott Rider hit some great event records. Yes it was a good day. the "heavy mist" as the commentator described it, did pause briefly for the Queen's arrival but became progressively heavier later and everyone got quite wet, but still it was enjoyable. I'll put up some pictures later too, when I get a chance to look at them. Could not see much of the heavy events from our seats, but had good views of the dancing, high and long jumps, but we did see the cabers going over, which makes a change from Ashbourne, where they don't usually manage it.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
