If Annapolis was a wee bit closer to Manassas, I would be interested. That being said, traffic in the DMV is rather off-putting for such adventure.

I could be in, depending on when. Ilive in Montgomery county, so it is a bit of a schlep, but may be doable. I am familar with Fado's and it should work fine.

What you really mean is traffic in Northern Virginia is off-putting.

My apologies! By writing "DMV" I am referring to District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Each place has it's own weird traffic.

So, if we go with a weekday, which would be better for most of you, Tues, Wed, or Thu?

St. Andrews Day???
Hello Annapolis rabble, since we aren't getting much feedback on a day, or on attending even, I was thinking we might launch our first night of kilts and adult beverages on St. Andrews Day, November 30th. It is a Thursday night, which after 8:00 p.m. is an open mike night at Fado's, but it seemed like an appropriate day to start things off.
They have a happy hour M-F from 4.00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so we can get some kind of drink and food at a discount on any night.
Monday has a beer special, and some kind of food special.
Tuesdays are Taco Tuesday with fish tacos.
Wednesday is Pub Quiz night so if anyone wanted to put together a team we could, but we don't have to.
Thursday night, as I mentioned, is an Open Mic night after 8:00.
What do you all say?
