Did it Happen?
Did you guys get together yet?
I know my name was thrown in the pot but I was busy with work and just didn't respond.
Let me know if you are still looking for folks or next time. I'll try to drop in
LOCH SLOY!
Cheers, Wil

How does this Saturday, June 23rd work for you? Or would the 30th be better?

Y'all enjoy, my kilt's in the reweaving shop having a couple of holes mended so I'm stuck in bifurcated garments for the next 4-6 weeks.
As mentioned earlier, I work out by Cumberland and will be moving there shortly, so will enjoy a kilted after-work happy hour out that way at the drop of a hat. Maybe we should kilt up and go to the Tilted Kilt?

Where do you take your kilt for repairs? I recently got one that could use a bit of mending.

@Wareyin there's some Indian ladies in Birmingham that do a great job at reweaving. It ain't cheap though. Something snagged 3 holes in my kilt ranging from pea sized to dime size, gonna cost about 300 bucks to have it mended. Was torn about just sewing patches in myself but it's a hand-sewn Lochcarron 8-yd so I figured on fixing it right. In hindsight, maybe wish I had just put that toward a new 4 or 5 yard kilt.

Oh, wow, I don't think the kilt I'm looking to fix is worth that much! Oh well.
How soon do you plan on moving to Cumberland?

Hello Everyone,
Since I arrived in town, I've been extremely busy with family stuff and had not been on the forum. So it looks like I missed the get-together.
If anyone wants to attempt another one over the next week, I would be interested. I can't do Friday night, though, because that is when my wife gets back into town and I need ot meet her at the airport.
FWIW, my new USA Kilt did arrive and it looks great.
Andrew
