A good percent of people who wear the kilt don't dress 100% accurately anyway. Footwear is a great example of not being historically accurate. What footwear exactly?
Because Ghillie Brogues/Buckle Brogues, Hose, Flashes and Sgian Dubh are traditional components of Highland footwear. This is the traditional option.
