I'm a big fan of L&M Highland Outfitters (Nova Scotia). They carry on the classic styles and old-school craftsmanship, and have done some nice innovations as well. Congrats on your lovely sporran!

Here's a nice Evening Wear sporran, one of the classic styles I call the "canon". It appears to have a silverplated cantle. I do believe the fur is bovine, which the Scottish sporranmakers would use in place of sealskin for their sporrans intended for the US market. It has the typical classic gold oval stamp "Made In Scotland".

In any case a nice quality Scottish-made sporran for around $50.
