Question about rain jackets.

During my non-kilted life I will often wear a Barbour Beaufort jacket in the “relatively” colder months where I live. Would it be considered traditional to wear such a jacket with a kilt if the weather required it?

Barbour and "Barbour style" jackets and fleeces are commonly worn with the kilt in Scotland when necessary.There is no merit in being wet and/or cold and sartorial elegance takes second place to common sense.
