There is a difference. The Wallace jackets I’ve seen have a 3-button front. The jackets from Kinloch-Anderson have a single button front, and I think that’s also true of photos I’ve seen of the King in a similar jacket. It looks more elegant to me.

It should be the "Tweed Jacket & Vest". There is an option to select "Crail" cuffs, which is described as "one button", and all other appointments are optional.

JPS, I'm not sure if you're saying that the jackets at K-A are "Wallace" jackets, or that there are "Wallace" jackets that are listed on other retailers' sites that have single-button closure as well as single button decoration on otherwise simple sleeves. If the former, can you provide me an example, because while I might be interested in purchasing another at some point, I'm not eager to pay K-A's prices, either.

Assuming that St. Kilda Kilts and Gaelic Themes are one and the same, I just surfed to St. Kilda Store, where the "Wallace" jacket has a 3 button chest closure and the possibility of a single button decorating each sleeve cuff, but the chest closure is 3 buttons, and I'm not aware of other retailers that offer the jacket that K-A sells (either made to measure or off the rack), with a one-button front.

    If you navigate back to

    https://stkildastore.com/store/Tweed...atterned-Tweed

you can run down the options and pick what appointments you prefer. Cuffs, pockets, however many button closure, etc... Whatever your little heart desires.

It's kinda buried at the bottom of the tweed jacket page, but it's there.

    Gaelic Themes 1 & 2 button kilt jackets, kinloch Anderson's jackets, & the King's

I was wrong about the images I've seen of King Charles in a simple jacket such as the one sought by user <pageone>.

I've inserted an image of him when he visited Lochcarron Mills in the fall of 2023. The jacket has 2 buttons, but bottom one is obviously decorative. Kinloch Anderson does offer jackets cut in the same fashion, but with only one button.

Separately, Dr. Miles Kerr-Peterson, from Gaelic Themes/St. Kilda Kilts, tells me that their "Wallace" jackets are cut with lapels that meet a bit higher on the chest, whether the jacket has 2 or 3 buttons, but that they also make a jacket with lapels shaped like those worn by HRM. They are less expensive than those sold by Kinloch Anderson.

I'm referring specifically to the USA Kilts site, which lists what you're looking for simply as "Tweed Jacket & Vest" with options to customize or remove features according to your personal taste.
